'Environmental Melancholia' marks the first release of bernese producer Seb1 on House Of Fou and we are proud to have him on the artist roster!
A long time coming, this EP is now finally available after being played at several raves throughout Switzerland. It contains three tracks that capture the emotions, impressions and reflections of the first Covid-induced Lockdown, from being inspired by nature to endless hours on the internet and a deep craving to return to the Rave.

The opener and title track 'Environmental Melancholia' is being driven by a steady Four on the Floor Beat, carrying a melody that's balancing sadness and hope throughout the song. With pads blazing your thoughts away, the song invites you to move and to free yourself of heaviness.

'Ich Will Dich' is a tech-banger meant to destroy the dance floor with it's raw and pulsating synths. The vocal, inspired by the Yung Hurn song of the same name, expressing the desire for another, lends the song the perfect feeling for those late-hour rave emotions.

"What is it that'll make you a good techno producer?" was a question and an accompanying joke post on a techno subreddit. Seb1 delivers his answer with a deep low-end movement and a mean acid line on 'Questions'. As an ironic take on techno production, this song definitely shows that Seb1 has what it takes. I dare you to play this out loud.
